The mid-term inspection meeting of the “New Energy Vehicle” key project “High Specific Power Long Life Power Battery and New Supercapacitor Technology Development” was held in Beijing

On July 24, 2019, the “Special Management Office of the New Energy Vehicles” of the High-Tech Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as the “Special Office”) organized the national key of the expert group led by CITIC Guoan Mengli Power Technology Co., Ltd. in Beijing. The mid-term inspection of the “New Energy Vehicles” key project “High-power long-life power battery and new supercapacitor technology development” was carried out in the 2017 project. More than 50 representatives including the project leader, the project leader and the key members of the participating units, the experts of the mid-term inspection team and the relevant personnel of the special office attended the inspection meeting.
At the meeting, the special office introduced the purpose and content of the mid-term inspection, the organization and project adjustment, the issues that should be paid attention to in the comprehensive performance evaluation, the new situation and new requirements faced by the project organization and management. The project team leader introduced the project overview, the consistency of the implementation schedule and plan, the important progress and results achieved, the fund disbursement and use, the problems and the next work plan. The expert group affirmed the phased results achieved by the project and made recommendations for the development of the next step. At present, the project team has carried out research on the forward design of modeled batteries, developed a high specific power fast-charged electric vehicle power battery with long cycle life and a high-power long-life supercapacitor unit, and developed a plug-in hybrid commercial vehicle. With the single battery for passenger cars, a large current active equalization system is designed for high power application characteristics. In the next step, the project team will further deepen the combination of theoretical models and practical applications, analyze the relationship between lithium deposition and battery safety risks under fast charging conditions, and promote the application of fast-charge batteries and hybrid vehicle battery products to accelerate the process of transformation of results. .
The goal of the project is to build a common technology platform for battery model development and high specific power battery application technology, to overcome key technologies of safety, power, life and environmental adaptability, and to develop high specific power long life lithium ion power batteries and high specific energy super capacitors. And complete the vehicle batch application.
