Valens technology helps to create the MIPI alliance automobile ultra-high speed communication standard

Beijing – Valens, A leader in high-speed on-board connectivity technology, has announced that MIPI alliance has selected Valens technology as the basis for its a-phy physical layer standard for automotive applications.The a-phy standard will define an asymmetric physical layer for the automotive industry, providing high-speed connectivity for cameras, monitors, and sensors for autonomous driving and other applications using the standard CSI 2 and DSI/ dsi-2 interfaces.

Valens technology ensures the stability and reliability of high-speed signal transmission in a noisy interior environment.Using existing cables and connectors, it can meet the high-speed transmission requirements of networked autonomous cars, providing the most powerful and reliable solutions.The final specification of the standard is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.MIPI’s a-phy will be the industry’s first high speed asymmetric communication standard.
